We have taken the difficult decision to close the hotel until further notice. Our team look forward to welcoming guests back in the near future.

Covid-19 update

Our number one priority at this difficult time are our guests and dedicated team. That’s why we, as a business, have been following the strictest advice including the implementation of the protocols advised by the Guernsey Government for the safety of all who join us.

Our employees are fully aware of the current requirements and are undertaking extreme levels of every health and safety procedure, to ensure that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained, throughout every aspect of our restaurant.

We have implemented new guidelines and procedures with regard to any member of our team returning from an affected area or those who have family members or even housemates that have recently returned from these regions. They have automatically been requested to self-quarantine for fourteen days and then confirm there are no symptoms of any illness.

We will be following developments on a daily basis and will make any adjustments accordingly.

Assistance with existing and future bookings

If you need advice on booking or to amend reservations made direct with us, please contact the hotel reservations team who are available to help. If you need to adjust reservations made through another travel site or booking agent, please contact them for assistance. Given the impact of COVID-19 on how we work, entertain and travel, we have been adapting our cancellation policy over the past several weeks to the evolving nature of this epidemic. We endeavour to provide our customers as much flexibility as we can during these challenging times.

Generally speaking, for guests with existing individual reservations, including reservations with pre-paid/non-refundable rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow date changes/postponements to a new booking within 2020 without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival as long as the change is made by 31st March 2020 for bookings with a travel date prior to 30th April. Please note that rate changes would apply to your new booking. For guests making new individual reservations between today and 31st March, 2020, we will allow those reservations to be changed or postponed at no charge up to 24 hours before a guest’s scheduled arrival date for bookings arriving until 31st May 2020.

Coronavirus Travel Update and CCA emergency regulations regarding travel


To be clear, the States of Guernsey Government is advising not to travel for non-essential reasons. You will see tighter boarder control and your visitors will be required to self-isolate for 14 days immediately upon entry to the Bailiwick. This is enforceable by law and failure to comply will be an offence.
